CCA FLORIDA LAUNCHES A NEW COMMUNICATIONS TOOL
|
You want your voice to be heard? This is your chance. CCA Florida has implemented a new grassroots advocacy communications system designed to maximize the power of our collective positions. Using the proven technology tools from voterVOICE, we will be able to launch and manage grassroots lobbying campaigns and other governmental affairs activities. More participation with less delay - that's the benefit.
A highly effective method of mobilizing our members into action, this system offers a quick and convenient setup. However, the resulting impact of our unified and amplified voices delivers a powerful tool for delivering our message of marine resource protection and conservation.
Access the CCA FL Grassroots Action Center through the CCA FL website and click on the "Grass Roots Action Center" link. Enter your home and office addresses, and the system automatically matches this information to corresponding political districts. When issues arise, you will be asked to respond through an "Action Alert" email. Clicking the link contained in the email takes you to our action center to complete the process of contacting the appropriate government officials.
At the action center, you'll find an online registration form with your contact information that CCA FL currently has in our database. Please complete any required fields that are empty (and feel free to modify any incorrect information). When finished, click "Continue" and the system will automatically match you to the appropriate officials based on your address. Information contained in your record is stored on secure servers and remains inaccessible to anyone outside the CCA FL Executive Staff.
You will be receiving "updates and alerts" from CCA FL, and you will also be able to access information about current legislation or issues we are following. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact CCA FL CEO Rob Hendricks or Executive Director Ted Forsgren.
